Two years before, one of our good student conveyed me that she is going to join other stream of study leaving Computer Application. I was surprised and simply asked her "do you know you are the continuous ranker of the class and have bright future in the current area of your education? You can be good resource for the industries of the area of your study." She replied very innocently "Sir thank you for your valuable remark. No doubt, I am a good student as far as my academic records are concern. I can write programs also but up to the syllabus is concern, but I am afraid of witting code for the projects, for developing applications, for designing websites and all. I am really worried after having a good reasoning and logic for the solutions of problem domain I am poor to design a good application.
Although I conveyed her many times that "Practice makes individual perfect", but she continued with her decision and as I told she was bright she got a good package in the area of CSR from one of Multinational IT company.
Here the term comes "Fear from Programming" while developing real world IT applications.
Personally, I am thankful for Amazon for creating wonderful ecosystem for Application Development, it is nothing but AWS Honeycode.
Amazon Honeycode in beta form introduced in public on 24 June 2020. This new fully-managed AWS service gives you the power to build powerful mobile & web applications without writing any code.
It uses the simple spreadsheet model and lets you get started in minutes (spreadsheet- what you learned during your schools using Microsoft Excel). Simply amazing! No? Yes, of course! If you or your teammates are already familiar with spreadsheets and formulas, you will be happy to hear that just about everything you know about sheets, tables, values, and formulas still applies and using the same you can be an Application Developer.
Amazon Honeycode includes templates for some common applications like event scheduling, customer relationship management, user surveys, to-do lists, content and inventory tracking. By using which you can develop customized application of your requirements
Customers have told us that the need for custom applications far outstrips the capacity of developers to create them," said AWS VP Larry Augustin in the announcement. "Now with Amazon Honeycode, almost anyone can create powerful custom mobile and web applications without the need to write code," The entire service uses an underlying AWS database, allowing data to be linked, filtered, sorted and with a web-based, drag-and-drop interface builder. It is free for applications with up to 20 users, with charges kicking in for larger application numbers.
Data from the Honeycode apps is then taken and processed by a database built on AWS, which Amazon says can be scaled up to 100,000 rows per workbook. With this, users can focus on building their applications without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. And for now, users will not be able to bring in any outside data sources, but that may still be on the company's roadmap.
Thank you Amazons Web Services.
